Which Loans Can I Skip?
If you qualify, you can skip your loan payment(s) for either the month of November or December on any BWCU consumer loans—excluding the following:

  • Credit Cards
  • Home Equity Lines of Credit
  • Unsecured Lines of Credit
  • 1st Mortgages
  • Fixed Rate 2nd Mortgages
  • Commercial Loans


How Do I Skip-a-Payment?
CLICK HERE. Fill out your information and either submit online or print off the form and take to any BWCU branch, fax to 316.651.5148 or mail to the address on the form.

Is There a Fee For The Skip-a-Payment?
Yes. If you are approved for the Holiday Skip-a-Payment, a processing charge of $25 or 5% of your payment amount ($50 maximum-whichever amount is greater) PER LOAN will be assessed. You can select the account you would like your processing fee to be deducted. Your fee will not be added to your loan balance.

Thanksgiving

In the spirit of feeling thankful, I can’t help but look forward to Thanksgiving Day. I love the camaraderie of the holiday and getting swept away in the spirit of the moment. Honestly, there really is no other day in the year I am blessed to spend a whole day with so many generations of my family. We share with one another what we’re thankful for, discuss the previous year of events and reminisce loved ones who could not be with us this year. Nevertheless, the glorious spread of turkey, gravy, three types of salad, multiple potato dishes, and pumpkin pie that awaits us inevitably takes center stage.
